The exam
What is Vestibular?
Vestibular is the Vestibular (university entrance examinations such as FUVEST and UNICAMP), a university entrance exam (Brazil). Each institution sets its own examination, commonly in two phases: a first multiple-choice phase across all subjects, then a second phase with written answers, an essay and subject-specific questions related to the chosen course. Reading lists of literary works are published in advance and examined directly. Phases are selective, and results are published as rankings per course. Some universities also admit through ENEM scores.
Who takes it: Candidates for specific Brazilian universities, especially the state universities of São Paulo, which run their own entrance examinations alongside or instead of ENEM.

How to prepare
Studying for Vestibular, step by step
01
Prioritise
Read the mandatory literary works early and take notes on themes and characters, since questions reference specific passages and narrators.
02
Practise
Second-phase written answers reward full reasoning; practise writing complete solutions and essays rather than only choosing options.
03
Avoid the traps
Target the subject weights of your chosen course; medicine and engineering second phases emphasise different subjects and skills.
04
Ask, then watch
Type or say a topic in your own words; the tutor plans a storyboard, one picture per idea, and explains it step by step.
05
Interrupt and check
Say "wait, why?" mid-explanation and it answers on the picture; a checkpoint question ends every lesson.
06
Your papers
Upload past papers and notes so the practice follows the exam, and use Test Lab for graded tests.
