Learn Machine Learning with a visual teacher

Ask "How does gradient descent know which way is downhill?" and a 1:1 AI teacher plans the lesson, explains it out loud while it visualizes each step, and checks you got it, in 26 languages.

The subject

What is Machine Learning?

Machine Learning is the study of algorithms that improve from data instead of being programmed rule by rule. Studying it means learning supervised and unsupervised methods, from linear regression and decision trees to neural networks, together with the mathematics of optimisation, probability and linear algebra that make them work, and the practice of training, evaluating and deploying models. It powers modern AI, and it is taught in computer science degrees and specialist courses.

Where it is studied: Undergraduate and postgraduate computer science and engineering degrees, specialist courses and interview preparation for engineering roles.

Why pictures

Why Machine Learning is taught visually

Learning algorithms are geometric: a loss surface with gradient descent stepping downhill, a decision boundary bending as a model grows, a neural network with its layers and weights, a kernel lifting points into a higher space, a bias-variance curve. Drawing the loss landscape makes the learning rate meaningful.

The tutor draws the picture as it speaks, one idea at a time, and answers your doubt on the same picture when you interrupt.

Topics

What Machine Learning covers, topic by topic

  • Linear and logistic regression
  • Decision trees and ensembles
  • Support vector machines
  • Backpropagation
  • Clustering
  • Dimensionality reduction
  • Overfitting and regularisation
  • Model evaluation

A starting point, not a limit: name any topic in Machine Learning and the tutor plans it.

Exams and curricula

Machine Learning for every exam

  • University
  • GATE
  • Professional certificates
  • Technical interviews

Each lesson is pitched to the curriculum you follow, and you can upload past papers so the practice matches the exam.

Ask it anything

Questions learners ask in Machine Learning

  • What does backpropagation actually compute at each layer?
  • Why does regularisation reduce overfitting in a model?
  • How does a random forest differ from a single decision tree?

Questions

Asked, Answered

Can an AI visual teacher explain neural networks step by step?

Yes. It draws the network, pushes one example forward through the layers and then traces the gradients back, explaining each arrow aloud. Stop at any layer and ask what the number means, and it answers on the same drawing.

Does it cover the mathematics or just the intuition?

Both. It starts with a picture, then writes the derivation beside it, and you can ask for a different explanation at either level. Upload lecture notes or a paper as a PDF and it teaches from that material.

How can I test my understanding of machine learning?

Each lesson ends with a checkpoint question. Test Lab offers server-graded tests from a question bank and AI-made tests on algorithms, evaluation and the underlying mathematics, and verified courses offer a structured sequence.
